To our entire Utopia family. We’d like to honor our friend and leader, Todd Dawid. For nearly 30 years, Todd served as Vice President of our Connecticut operations, guiding teams with steadiness, clarity, and unwavering dedication. His leadership was defined by integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to doing what was right—qualities that earned him the trust and admiration of those around him. Todd had an exceptional ability to recognize potential in others, encouraging people to grow, and believe in themselves. His optimism and confidence created an environment where people felt supported, valued, and inspired to do their best work.
Todd’s passing on September 20th of this year is a profound loss to all who had the privilege of knowing him, both personally and professionally. Beyond his accomplishments, those who worked with Todd will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and the positive influence he carried into every interaction. He was someone who listened, cared sincerely, and treated everyone with respect. Todd truly was a special man—someone whose example continues to guide us and whose legacy will live on in lives he touched.
