Eastern Suffolk BOCES, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association of Long Island, will be hosting an Alzheimer's Awareness educational workshop on October 26th. Some of the topics to be covered include an overview and information regarding the disease, caregiving tactics, and the impact the disease has on families.
After the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with local healthcare providers to find out more about their services. Utopia Home Care's Certified Senior Advisor, Julia Jenne, will be in attendance to provide information about our full line of home care services, from companion care and errands services, to assistance with activities of daily living and live in care provided by Home Health Aides (HHA's) and Personal Care Aides (PCA's).
