On June 4th, Utopia Home Care participated in the Riverhead Senior Center's Senior Citizen Information Day. The annual event is coordinated by the Town of Riverhead, who invites local providers to present information related to their services and discuss issues affecting residents in their community.
The Keynote Speaker for the day was Dr. Georgia Yesmount from Life Span Counseling Services in Huntington. Dr. Yesmount specializes in assisting clients with anxiety/depression issues, and discussed how to recognize the signs of depression in an aging population.
