Through the Town of Huntington Senior Center, a group of local professionals has recently put on a series of events for local residents of Huntington Town. The "Senior Support Network" consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including elder care attorneys, managed care plans, home care agencies, and assisted living facilities. Recent events have included a Veteran's Day celebration, Thanksgiving Dinner for over 300 seniors, and a 100th Birthday party.
The main focus of the group is working together to help local residents maintain their independence and remain at home. Below is a group shot of all the participants during the recent holiday party!
