On April 22nd, Utopia Home Care of New York held their annual Corporate Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge. This event brings together staff from all of Utopia's New York branches, along with Administrators from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and our Assisted Living program.
The highlight of this year's event was the dedication of the "Jim Kelly Award for Excellence". Previously celebrated as our "Aide of the Year" award, it was recently renamed in honor of Jim Kelly, a long time employee and member of the Utopia Home Care family who passed away in March. Jim's commitment to excellence and legacy will continue to live on through this annual award, which recognizes a field staff employee who has gone above and beyond for our clients.
