In collaboration with the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, Utopia Home Care of Wyomissing has become a member of the national screening initiative for early detection in Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Our office is only official site in all of Berks County, in addition to being the only home care agency with this accreditation.
To honor National Memory Screening Day, Utopia will be providing free memory screenings at our office on November 18th from 10am to 5pm. These screenings are open to the community and will be performed by our staff of Registered Nurses throughout the day. If this date is not suitable, individual appointments can also be arranged.
A “memory care goodie bag” courtesy of Utopia Home Care and The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Delaware Valley will be given to all attendees as a small token of our appreciation for participating and spreading the word on Alzheimer's awareness.
