Alzheimer's Association of Long Island Hosts Annual "Walk to End Alzheimer's" - Belmont Lake State Park, NY

The Long Island Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association held their annual "Walk to End Alzheimer's" on September 19th at Belmont State Park. Over 2,000 walkers participated in the event, which helped raise $383,628 dollars for the Long Island Chapter and its programs. All funds raised are used to help further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Utopia Home Care not only sponsored the event, but had a team of walkers participating as well. Pictured below is Community Representative Brett Sanchez, who had a busy morning of passing out information and speaking to walker's on their way to the starting line.
