Utopia Home Care is a family owned and operated licensed home care agency providing services since 1983.

We are currently seeking a full-time, Intake Coordinator to assist with the intake of new patient referrals for all Utopia locations within CT. Our intake department is located at our East Haven, CT branch office.

The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for the new patient referrals and is responsible for providing a high level of customer service as well as building and maintaining relationships with referral sources.

You will interact with our clinical team, insurance companies, regional agencies on aging and various healthcare providers to assist with new admissions and readmisisions for home care services.

We have a thriving business office and the right candidate must possess the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities while assuring information is accurately documented and all necessary external/internal communications are clear, timely and effective.

You will also be responsible for recordkeeping in accordance with established procedure and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of insurances, medical terminology and diagnosis are required.

Experience with EPIC and NetSmart are highly preferred.

Must possess excellent computer and data entry skills.
