Utopia Home Care and Smooth Transitions will be presenting an "Aging in Place" seminar on July 20th, at the Tanner Park Senior Center in Copiague. Utopia's Certified Senior Advisor Julia Jenne will be presenting "How to Choose a Home Care Agency", followed by Maxine Hartly of Smooth Transitions with "Aging in Place or Rightsizing - What's Best for You?".

Some of the topics to be covered will include:

• Ensuring the agency/person is properly licensed, certified, and accredited
• Making sure the aide provided is the right fit for the client and the situation
• Questions to ask when setting up services
• Utilizing community resources available in the area
• Is my current living situation right for aging in place?
